Pronounced: "ASH-ling"

Aisling is an old Gaelic word that means dream, vision, or inspiration. This seemed an appropriate name since the founding members of Aisling Appraisals had always dreamed of starting their own appraisal firm.

Aisling is also known as a vision poem. Developed during the late 17th and 18th centuries, Aisling became a poetic genre in Irish language poetry. Aogán Ó Rathaille (1675? – 1729) was the first and greatest exponent of the aisling genre. You can count on our appraisal reports to be timely and accurate but we doubt they will be poetic.
